Riverhouse Surgery have adapted to the way appointments are being made for delivering care to our patients.
In line with the national guidance ALL appointment requests will now be triaged by a Doctor. We have increased capacity for telephone & video consultations the doctors and nurse can book face to face appointments when required. This will enable us to keep all our patients and staff safe whilst continuing to provide the care you need.
If an appointment is required following Doctorlink’s online assessment, you will be able to book an appointment directly or generate a request for the practice to contact you.
Remember if you can’t make it – PLEASE cancel your appointment.
If you have an urgent problem during surgery hours, please call the surgery on 0208 542 3105.
The receptionist will need to take some details about the problem and arrangements will be made for you to be seen by the doctor as soon as possible
Urgent same day evening and weekend appointments are available at our new local hubs.
To get an appointment at a hub you will need to book in advance through your GP practice or call 111 .
An appointment is required to see the doctor or nurse.
Our appointment system operates from Monday to Friday, consultation times can be found here.
Appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
We will always endeavour to let you book an appointment with the doctor of your choice at a time that suits you best. This is obviously not always possible especially at times of high demand (usually around the holiday periods) and when doctors are on holiday. We are constantly reviewing the appointment system to offer a range of availability.
Telephone Advice may include queries about a prescription, a test result, a hospital appointment, a referral, a form that needs to be completed or advice about a minor ailment. Please call and ask the receptionist who will be able to help you.
